Directly from Denmark to the famous fjords of western Norway
The MV Bergensfjord operates the route between Denmark and Western Norway – or more accurately between Hirtshals – Stavanger – Bergen. Onboard you will find a variety of cabin categories, good food, live music and a wide selection of tax free products. Travelling with the MS Bergensfjord also means close-up views of the breathtaking Western Norwegian fjord landscape and glaciers, giving you a unique experience along the way – a little taste of what’s still to come!

  • 3 daily departures Hirtshals to Bergen (Norway)
  • 4 daily departures Hirtshals to Stavanger (Norway)

Upon arrival in Western Norway you will feel relaxed and fully rested when travelling with Fjord Line– it’s a unique and exclusive way to get there!

The quickest route between Denmark and Norway
Fjord Line Express, HSC Fjord Cat, sails between Hirtshals and Kristiansand (Norway) in just two hours and 15 minutes. It is the fastest vessel ever to have crossed the Atlantic Ocean. What a way to start you holiday – travelling with a world record holder!

The ferry sails with three daily departures between 14th of April and 19th of September.

On board Fjord Line Express you will find that a standard seat is included in your ticket. You are also given the option of upgrading to the comfort seat-class with a table, or even enjoy the whole journey from one of the seats in the restaurant overlooking the ocean with a buffet meal included! The term fast-food takes on a different meaning here.

Ticket flexibility
Fjord Line operates with a so called flexible pricing system. Fares are regulated by the on-board capacity on date of travel. In most cases, the best fares are available when booking your journey early. Be a little flexible when choosing your travel dates and you may even save enough to pay for an extra night of accommodation to fully enjoy your holiday!

You may also choose between two different types of tickets – Economy tickets or Flexible tickets. Economy tickets are cheaper, but the Flexible tickets give you the option to make changes to your reservation.
