Sognefjord in a nutshell – Huge fjord, huge experience

The Sognefjord is Norway's longest and deepest fjord and stretches more than 200 kilometres inwards to the foot of the Jotunheimen Mountains. The dramatic and friendly landscape claims to be one of the most beautiful travel destinations in the world. 

The Sognefjord in a nutshell round trip combines a beautiful boat journey on the Sognefjord, with a spectacular train journey on the Flåm Railway.

Lysefjord and Norway in a nutshell® – Wild and beautiful

This tour includes our popular Norway in a nutshell® trip, which takes you on a fantastic journey from Oslo to Bergen. You travel through wild and beautiful coastal scenery between the World Heritage City of Bergen to the oil city of Stavanger. Stavanger is the starting point for one of the highlights of the tour, a fjord cruise on the magnificent Lysefjord with the overhanging mountain plateau Preikestolen (the Pulpit Rock) towering 604 metres above the fjord as a natural highlight.

Geiranger & Norway in a nutshell® – A taste of World Heritage

This round trip takes you to Norway's two most beautiful fjords, the Geirangerfjord and the Nærøyfjord; both included on UNESCO’s World Heritage List.

Hardanger in a nutshell – A taste of fruit and fjord

If the Sognefjord is called the King among the fjords of Western Norway, the Hardangerfjord is the Queen. The 179-kilometre long fjord provides natural landscapes that are spellbinding to even the most well-travelled tourist. Here you will find cultural and natural pearls side by side.

Hurtigruten & Norway in a nutshell® – A complete Norwegian holiday

This is one of the best combinations for experiencing Norway. The Hurtigruten & Norway in a nutshell® round trip includes a comfortable train journey on the Dovrebanen Railway from Oslo to Trondheim, and a voyage with one of the Hurtigruten ships from Trondheim to Bergen.

To make the experience complete, you take the Norway in a nutshell® round trip on your way back to Oslo.

Rallarvegen ("the Navvies' Road") – In the Navvies' footsteps

Rallarvegen is one of the most scenic cycle rides from "the roof of Norway" right down to the fjord - quite an experience! As the name suggests, Rallarvegen dates from the time the navvies used it as a road during the construction of the Bergen Railway. 

The Rallarvegen holiday package includes a journey with the Bergen Railway from Bergen or Oslo to Haugastøl or Finse, cycle hire for 2 days, a ride with the Flåm Railway and return with the Bergen Railway from Myrdal to Bergen or Oslo.
