Normally the 58 students, from different corners of the world, are studying at the University of Copenhagen, concentrating on getting through their prescribed texts. Today, hungry for adventures, they concentrate on attaching pictures to their cameras.
On their way to Flåm, dry air in reading rooms, have been replaced with fresh autumn air and red noses. Even with clear blue sky, the air is crisp on the Nærøyfjord. But it is still wonderful and refreshing.

Anyway, set against the enchanting fairytale atmosphere that surrounds one on the road, you actually forget about the cold wind.

- The view is fantastic, Kristof from Budapest exclaims.

- Rather more rich on contrasts, Robert from Toronto Canada adds.

- But it's a little cold on fingers and toes, they both laugh and shiver a bit.

- Look, look – somebody is swimming in the sea. The statement comes from behind a giant scarf.

"Somebody", turns out to be a seal that wants to play with the red kayaks, waiting for us to pass. Kayaking is very popular in this area.

Lenses snap everywhere. And when razor sharp air forming frost mist on exhalation - they take pictures of that too. Some compare objectives. Laughing. Rejoicing. Looking out towards the smallness - that yet is so great.

Just before we turn west from Aurlandsfjord, against Nærøyfjord, all eyes lifts towards the mountain farm "Stegen" - that tilts entire 300 meters above sea level! The legend tells that one had to use a ladder to get up there. Hence the name.

Asbjørn Davis from Scanbelt-experience is guide for the student group. He inspires with stories of otters, eagles, foxes, porpoises, deer and goats.

- I've been here a few times before. One summer, I actually worked on board here, he smiles and gathers everyone in the bow for a group photo.
