The Breheimen Trail

West of the Jotunheimen and slightly north of Sogndal you find Mørkridsdalen and Breheimen. Be it day trips or hiking for several days, this is a good starting point for many great trips.

Around the Lysefjord

The trekking route around the Lysefjord is a long hike for those who want to experience a combination of high peaks, steep slopes and flat mountain plateau with spectacular fjord views.

Aurlandsdalen - wild & beautiful

Aurlandsdalen, the Aurland Valley, with its rich and scenic fauna, the wild river winding through the landscape, and stunning views to the fjords and mountains.

Skålatårnet –The Skåla Tower

The hike up to Skålatårnet – the tower at the top of the Mountain Skåla - is a spectacular trip that is considered to be the Norwegian hike with the greatest difference in height from its start at sea level to the top of the mountain.

Stranda-Patchellhytta-Øye

This tour links the village Stranda with Øye, where the Norangs valley meets the Hjørund fjord. This is a hike in the alpine mountains of spectacular Sunnmøre Alps. The trail goes through easy terrain in a green valley, with high peaks on all sides.

The Fjord route

The Fjord Route is a coastal trekking route from Kvernberget Airport, Kristiansund. The route offers hikers a great variety in the surrounding landscape. Starting from the sea, through the cultural landscape and forest terrain, and up in the untouched mountains.

The Grieg Trail

Edvard Grieg found inspiration for some of his most important compositions in the western parts of Jotunheimen, the innermost parts of the Sogne Fjord. One of his most beloved trekking routes start at the Hotel Turtagrø, where you also have a good starting point for various tours in the national parks Breheimen and Jotunheimen.
