In Fjord Norway you can learn how to ride a horse, you can ride along paths and roads as well as into untouched wilderness. Experienced riders can go on their own, others might prefer organised trips accompanied by expert guides. RIding is also a family friendly activity, and could become the highlight of the holidays. Often you can combine a horse ride with a visit to a farm, or you can make the hiking trip along the regions many trails a lot easier
