Thomas Dybdahl was born in 1979 in Sandnes. After a difficult start, he released the album "...That Great October Sound" in 2002, which received great critics from both Norwegian and international press.
Nils Petter Molvær is a jazz musician, composer and producer. He was one of the pioneers when it comes to combining jazz and electronical muisc.
Sondre Lerche started to play the guitar at the age of eight, and today he is a well known musician in Norway and internationally. The debut album came in 2001, and was an immediate success in Norway. Today Sondre Lerche lives in the USA.
The rock band Kaizers Orchestra was established in Bergen in the year 2000. The band is characterized by the unique style of the founders and songwriter, vocalist Janove Ottesen and guitarist Geir Zahl.
Enslaved started playing together in Haugesund in 1991 and are still going strong. They are regarded as one of our biggest musical export products.
