South of Haugesund and Haugesund Airport you will find the beautiful island Karmoy. The Karmoy Family and Youth Hostel on the island is located just outside the community centre Kopervik. Experience the fascinating costal landscape of the island or visit the idyllic town of Skudeneshavn. A visit to the “Nordvegen Historical Centre” is compulsory when visiting the area – remember that Karmoy was the home of the Norwegian Vikings. A yearly Viking festival takes place in June.

The hostel offers different kinds of accommodation; single, double, and family rooms. Single bed in a multi-bedded room (sharing with people of the same sex) is also available. Good self catering facilities
