Sogndal is located by Norway’s longest fjord, the “Sognefjord”. There are good opportunities for outdoor activities with the fjord, mountains, and glaciers near by. The Hostel is a great starting point for several sights, such as day trips to the “Nigardsbreen” Glacier and the Norwegian glacier museum. You can enjoy trips to “Flam” with the famous Flam Railway Line, and then there are the stave churches “Borgund” and “Urnes”. The latter is also featured on UNESCO’s World Heritage List

The hostel offers different kinds of accommodation; single, double, and family rooms. Single bed in a multi-bedded room (sharing with people of the same sex) is also available. Good self catering facilities
