Åndalsnes Youth and Family Hostel

Åndalsnes Youth and Family Hostel is idyllically situated approximately 1.5 km outside the centre of Åndalsnes. The hostel is surrounded by spectacular mountains and the Romsdalfjord. The hostel is one of Norway's oldest, and consists of three buildings located in a farmyard. We offer our guests a nice welcome, clean and tidy rooms, common areas, large outdoor space and free parking. In addition, our famous breakfast is included in the overnight price.

There is a quiet and calm atmosphere at the hostel, and it is very well suited for families with children. The hostel's location is very favourable considering the short distance to all of the famous attractions in the Åndalsnes area. It is an excellent starting point for day trips by foot, bicycle or car. Possible day trips are for instance: “Trollveggen” (the highest vertical mountain wall in Europe )”Trollstigen”, Geiranger, Ålesund, Molde, The Atlantic Road and Kristiansund.

We can recommend activities such as horseback riding, mountain hiking and fishing in the river “Rauma”, which is known for its salmon.

The hostel offers different kinds of accommodation; single, double, and family rooms. Single bed in a multi-bedded room (sharing with people of the same sex) is also available. Good self catering facilities are available
