Åge Aleksandersen & Sambandet
Vocalist, guitarist, and composer - Åge Aleksandersen is widely regarded as Norway's undisputed king of rock. He is behind many of the most famous pop songs in Norwegian music history and has the ability to be relentlessly honest and personal in his songs.
In 1976, Åge Aleksandersen moved to Trondheim and started the band Sambandet. Åge's third album, "Lirekassa," released in 1977, was the first to be released under the name Åge Aleksandersen & Sambandet, and together they won the Spellemannprisen award in 1980. Sambandet contributed to all of Åge's albums until "Eldorado" in 1986 when they were dissolved the following year.
In 2003, Sambandet reunited, and in 2005 the live album "To Skritt Frem - Fire Skritt Tilbake" was released. In 2024 and 2025, Åge & Sambandet round off an adventurous story with a final tour. This is an event you won't want to miss!
The current lineup of Sambandet includes Steinar Krokstad (drums/vocals), Skjalg Raaen (strings), Terje Tranaas (keys), Bjørn Røstad (sax), Morten Skaget (bass/vocals), and Gunnar Pedersen (strings/vocals).

20 years ago, one of Norway's most popular comedians had his big breakthrough with his critically acclaimed show "Fartøy Valen." On Friday, May 24th, Kristian Valen finally comes to Karmøy and Kopervik to perform in the big tent in Kopervik.

It has been 40 years since three young boys stood and practiced in an old barrack in Ilsvikøra, Trondheim. Full of hope that their little band would be able to achieve their dreams: big tours, recordings, and a life in music. And dreams came true! 40 years later, they can look back on an incredible career that has taken them to all corners of Norway, the USA, and Europe.
