and the Pulpit Rock
Why not try a summit walk along the way?
The Discovery Route by bus
The bus journey with Tide
starts in Stavanger and the ferry to Tau. The bus continues from Tau ferry quay to the car park for the Pulpit Rock. The Pulpit Rock bus departs several times a day, and the ticket is an open ticket so that you can choose the departure that suits you best.
We recommend an early departure if you want to have time to walk to the Pulpit Rock. Allow about four hours for the approximately six-km walk.
Afterwards you can join the Trolltunga-Pulpit Rock express
from the car park. The journey is via the Hjelmeland-Nesvik ferry to Odda, and continues through beautiful fjord landscape along the Sørfjord in Hardanger, where you can get off the bus in Tyssedal, Lofthus or Kinsarvik.
There are many places here where you can stay overnight before walking to the spectacular Trolltunga rock the next day.
