At the winter-sports destination Ski Sogn, you will experience the best of fjord and mountain, right next to the Sognefjord.
The Sognefjord - the longest and deepest fjord in Norway - is situated in the heart of Fjord Norway. It extends more than 200 km inland to the Jotunheimen, Jostedalsbreen and Breheimen national parks. This is where you will find Sogndal Skisenter and Sogn Skisenter, which are only a 10-15 minutes’ drive from the fjord. Both resorts offer great conditions for alpine and cross-country skiing with prepared mountain tracks, fantastic offpiste skiing areas and plenty of space for children to ski and sledge.
If you go on an organised activity trip, you can explore the wild and dramatic nature in the areas surrounding the ski centres. Ice climbing in river gorges, avalanche courses, guided skiing trips on and off-piste and summit tours are just a few of the activities on offer. The Mountain Sports Festival in February has become one of winter’s biggest highlights with an exciting programme of activities, educational courses, competitions, mountain sport seminars, concerts and a festival camp.
