The Sognefjord is Norway’s longest and deepest fjord. The dramatic and friendly landscape claims to be one of the most beautiful travel destinations in the world. The trip takes approximately 10 hours and starts with the express boat from Bergen. On board you will have views of the magnificent mountains along the Sognefjord and Aurlandsfjord, where high up you can see small mountain farms clinging to the sides of the mountains. The trip also includes the famous and popular Flåmsbana Railway.

Start from Balestrand sailing in towards the village Fjærland. The Fjærlandsfjord is beautiful and majestic as it is surrounded by steep mountains, some still covered with snow on the peeks. The water has a bright green colour because of the melt water from the glaciers that flows into the fjord. A fantastic boat trip from the unique architecture village Balestrand through the beautiful fjord arm towards the Jostedalsbreen Glacier.

The ferry cruise on the world’s most famous fjord takes approx. one hour.
