The Signe Førre Quartet offers a musical experience in which jazz and folk music blend together to create a vibrant and accessible sound. Drawing inspiration from a variety of cultures, the quartet invites the audience on an atmospheric journey through different musical traditions.
A musical journey across cultures
As a composer, double bassist and vocalist, Signe Førre combines musical expressions and languages from Norway, Serbia, Bulgaria, Macedonia, Bosnia and Turkey, amongst others. The result is a varied repertoire with strong melodies and a distinctive sound.
A band of experienced musicians
The quartet consists of musicians with extensive experience in the Norwegian music scene and collaborations with a number of well-known artists and bands.

Signe Førre is establishing herself as an exciting artist on the international jazz scene, with concerts at festivals in Asia, Europe and Norway. The music performed is drawn, amongst other sources, from the album FAGERT, released on Ta:lik Records.
