Author and farmer Peter F. Strassegger reads his entire new novel, *Gris*.
*Gris* is a terse and wild tale of the conflict between a pig farmer and a vegetable farmer on opposite sides of a river. It is a short story, but a great human drama set in the Jæren region, about humiliation, betrayal, redemption and the struggle between good and evil.
The novel has received rave reviews and is an extension of Strassegger’s commitment to agriculture and literature, which led him to help found Jorddøgn in 2021.
Food will be served that reflects the conflict in the book between the pig farmer and the legume farmer – namely, pork and beans.
The reading will take about two hours.
