ABOUT AKTIV DÖDSHJELP

In recent years, the Norwegian punk band Aktiv Dödshjelp has become well-known for explosive live performances and catchy, immediate melodies infused with humor and irony. Building on the success of their debut album *Send Dudes* (2024), the band has toured extensively across Europe (Sweden, Denmark, Germany, the Netherlands, and Norway). Eager audiences will get a first taste of upcoming material from an album expected this autumn (details currently confidential).

Riding the wave of success from their latest album, the band sold out Sentrum Scene in Oslo, secured a highly coveted slot at Eurosonic, and proved to festival crowds that they have truly earned their place on the Norwegian punk rock scene—not to mention earning a nomination for "Rock Album of the Year" at the Spellemann Awards.

The campaign for their latest album kicked off with the catchy track "Dolce Vita," an A-listed single on Norwegian student radio stations that also received airplay on Radio Rock, Norway’s dedicated rock station. Their critically acclaimed single "Evig Penger" was an eye-opener for the Norwegian press; outlets described the release as "the perfect, effortlessly laid-back, and aptly socially critical pop-punk track, featuring the funniest punk lyrics since Turbonegro’s 'All My Friends Are Dead'" (VG). The single also gained traction on playlists across the Nordic Spotify ecosystem, securing placements in Norway, Sweden, and even Iceland. The latest single, "Lørdag," capped off the campaign by securing 15th place on German Rock Radio.
