Alpaca walking involves going on a guided tour with an alpaca on a lead rope. Alpaca walking on Åmøy takes place in cultural pastures and forests with beautiful views of the Mastrafjord and Rennesøy—a peaceful and adrenaline-free experience. It is not very demanding to walk with the alpacas, but normal mobility is necessary, as the terrain can vary somewhat.
The tour takes approximately 90 minutes. Along the way, there will be opportunities to take unforgettable photos!
Practical information
Please arrive 20 minutes before the walk's start time.
A total of 2 hours is required for this experience.
The age limit for being responsible for an alpaca is 12 years.
Participants with companions must be at least 6 years old.
Clothing and footwear: Dress for the weather. Wear hiking boots/walking shoes as the walk takes place on trails in the terrain/forest.

Alpaca walk without alpaca
It is possible to book tickets for people (children, parents, companions) who want to join the walk but do not want to be responsible for their own alpaca. Please note: This is added as an option to the regular ticket/YouWish. NB: Limited number per tour.
