An American Holiday

Folkloric Adam Douglas welcomes back the audience success “An American Holiday” which has sold over 65,000 tickets. Here, Adam and his fabulous band take the audience into atmospheric rooms – where they perform both self-written winter and Christmas songs, in addition to making Christmas classics their own.

“An American Holiday” was created as a result of a dream Adam had for a long time to let the Norwegian audience take part in his own Christmas music tradition, inspired by soul, blues, gospel and Americana.

The tour means a lot to Adam personally, and he greatly appreciates that the tradition will continue in its ninth year. Soon the anniversary! He says: “The great thing about this concept is that there is always room for something new. The world has changed a lot since we started in 2017, and we will take that with us when we create next year’s version. We are constantly building on it, adding new elements and letting it grow a little each year. And I'm really looking forward to going on another trip with the gang. It's a super nice reunion every time, we've become like a little family on the road. We get so much energy from being on stage together - everyone walks around smiling. It's the ultimate way to recharge for the Christmas holidays. "
