BJØRN EIDSVÅG AND BJARTE TJØSTHEIM ON TOUR – LAUGHTER, MUSIC AND A TOUCH OF GRACE
Two of Norway’s most beloved artists, Bjørn Eidsvåg and Bjarte Tjøstheim, are joining forces for a very special tour. Combining warmth, humour and musical quality, the duo invites audiences to an evening filled with laughter, wonder and reflection.
Eidsvåg and Tjøstheim have known each other for several years. They have joked and messed around together on Radioresepsjonen, and Bjørn appeared as a guest in Bjarte’s TV series Presten, where he played a slightly inebriated version of himself.
Now they are bringing together their wit, energy and the little wisdom they possess in a shared performance. There will be plenty of jokes and playful banter, alongside attempts to reflect on both the small and big questions in life. Wonder is something both artists know well.
Both have a Christian background, both have experienced faith and doubt, and both know what it means to fall short. They can be both tough and sensitive, and are particularly skilled at passing merciless judgement on themselves. At the same time, they are searching for grace – for someone able to accept them as they are.
Audiences can expect an evening filled with laughter, music and reflection. Eidsvåg’s excellent band will provide the musical power, while Tjøstheim will also contribute his rhythmic talents.
Whether the evening will be uplifting and soul-stirring remains to be seen. Boring it certainly will not be – the performance is far too short for that.
“During autumn 2025, we performed 38 shows of Bjørn & Bjarte, den tøffe og den sarte. We have now had a break, but will soon be ready for another round. This is one of the most enjoyable things I have done in my career. Sharing the stage with Bjarte Tjøstheim is a joy. I laugh and cry during every performance. Now I’m super-ready to continue with this through 2026 as well.”
