Bjørnafjorden demenskor warmly welcomes you to a little hour with a high sing-along factor and great atmosphere. Here you get to experience the magical power of music, and feel how good singing is for the head, body, soul and mood!
The dementia choir started up in April 2023 and has singers from across the municipality who meet for rehearsal every week at Oseana.
Joy of singing and a sense of achievement take centre stage. We perform a varied repertoire of well-known and beloved songs, and we sing with the voice we have!
This evening we also have some guests that we are very much looking forward to presenting to the audience.
Stine Kobbeltvedt from Os frivilligsentral leads the choir together with music therapist Solfrid Harstad Hernes.
With them they have a fantastic group of volunteer co-workers, in addition to dementia coordinators Sølvi Bjørnevoll Fagertveit and Anne-Siv Skåthun Berge, and Bjørnafjorden demensforening.
