The bLEST Literature Festival will take place in Tysvær from Wednesday 28 October to Sunday 1 November 2026. The festival marks its 20th anniversary and offers five days of literary experiences, author talks and events for children, young people and adults.
The festival gives the public the opportunity to meet authors, discover new stories and take part in discussions and cultural experiences. The programme is designed for different age groups and interests, with literature as the common thread.
A literature festival for the whole family
Since its inception in 2006, bLEST has been a meeting place for readers, authors and those interested in culture. The festival emphasises the joy of reading, a sense of community and enriching literary experiences.
This anniversary edition offers a packed programme with events for young and old alike. Here, the public can explore literature’s many forms and gain new perspectives through encounters with authors and other cultural figures.
