Bruckner 7. symfoni / Operafestukene

When the Operaens Sinfonietta invites you to a concert during this year's Operafestuker, the program will include one of the most magnificent orchestral works of the Romantic era: Anton Bruckner's 7th Symphony. The symphony, which was premiered in Leipzig in 1884, was Bruckner's greatest success and is still considered by many to be his most successful and complete work.

The iconic Adagio movement, written as a tribute to Richard Wagner, stands as one of the most moving highlights of late Romanticism.

With the Operaens Sinfonietta conducted by Øyvind Bjorå, the audience is invited to a great musical experience.
