Helene Holtskog is a comedian, an op-ed writer, and a woman. In that order. You might have seen her touring with Sigrid Bonde Tusvik and Lisa Tønne, or in Season 4 of *Latter Live* on NRK. In 2019, she slipped on the ice and sustained a permanent head injury. Her stand-up show, "But Have You Tried Yoga?", is the result of five years spent trying to accept life as it is post-injury.

You know when life smacks you right in the face? Like, a real, proper smack in the face? The kind where absolutely every plan you’ve ever had has to be scrapped and replaced? It could be a partner who didn't want to be a partner anymore, or a car that ended up in a ditch. Or maybe the job you lost, the child you never had, or an incurable illness. She hit her head hard against the ground and lay there for a split second before getting up and thinking, "I'm probably fine." Spoiler alert: She wasn't.
