Bytorsken is a fishing festival and competition in the heart of Ålesund, where town and fjord meet. The event gives both locals and visitors the opportunity to experience the traditional Borgundfjord fishery – the very foundation on which our town was built.
At Rådhusplassen (the Town Hall Square), the days are filled with the joy of the catch, activities, flavours and a vibrant maritime atmosphere for the whole family.
