Welcome to a peaceful moment in the beautiful Sola Ruin Church, in the midst of the final preparations for Christmas.
Christmas with Ølberg is a Christmas concert featuring Norwegian Christmas hymns and songs – familiar favourites that often receive less attention in today’s commercial Christmas celebrations. Here, audiences can relax and enjoy an intimate encounter with the deeper meaning of Christmas, faith, wonder and longing.
And, of course, we will also include O Holy Night, a song that truly comes into its own when performed by an opera singer!
Performers:
Leif Jone Ølberg – vocals and violin
Lars Bernhardt Ølberg – organ and piano
Duration: Approximately 1 hour
