Welcome to a classical piano evening with Karén Torosov and students Dearesta Alfadiani, Alice, and Helen Wenang.
The audience will experience a journey through time with outstanding examples of music from the 16th–17th to the 20th century. The concert offers the opportunity to hear both well-known and lesser-known works by Johann Sebastian Bach, Ludwig van Beethoven, Johannes Brahms, Frederic Chopin, Franz Liszt, Felix Mendelssohn, Sergei Rachmaninov, and Sergei Prokofiev.
Karén Torosov is a classical piano soloist and chamber musician from Ukraine who, after moving to Norway, has performed at Sola and Sandnes Kulturhus and collaborated with professional musicians and young talents from SSO, Stavanger Kulturskole, UiB, and Ålesund String Quartet. He currently teaches at Gjesdal and Stavanger Kulturskole.
Dearesta Alfadiani is 14 years old and a student at Sola Kulturskole. With almost 11 years of experience, she continues to develop her skills and explore her passion for music through regular practice and performances.
Helen Wenang is 12 years old and has been playing piano for approximately 7 years. Alice Wenang is 14 years old and has been playing piano for over 10 years. Both are UTB students at Stavanger Kulturskole, passionate about performing piano and exploring the musical world.
