Welcome to a beautiful classical spring concert featuring music students from Sola, Stavanger and Gjesdal.
Participants:
Idun Johanne Olsborg is 18 years old. She sings classical music and is in her final year at Stavanger Katedralskole Bjergsted. She has sung in church since childhood but began focusing seriously on classical singing about three years ago.
Dearesta Alfadiani is 15 years old and a student in the Young Talents programme at Stavanger Cultural School in Bjergsted. With nearly 11 years of piano experience, she continues to develop her skills and passion through regular practice and performances.
Marius Øvrebekk (14) has played the flute at Sola Cultural School since the age of seven. He plays in the Sola school band and participates in Young Talents Bjergsted.
Hedda Marie Taklo Dahle is a 17-year-old student at Stavanger Katedralskole Bjergsted and part of Young Talents Bjergsted.
Helene Håland (14) has danced for eight years, specialising in ballet and show dance. She attends Gjesdal Cultural School and comes from Ålgård.
Jørgen Saglien Gausel is 17 years old. He plays the violin at Stavanger Katedralskole and participates in Young Talents Bjergsted. He loves music, especially classical and Romantic repertoire, and dreams of playing in a major symphony orchestra.
Nikolai Saglien Gausel is a dedicated baritone singer studying in the music programme at Stavanger Katedralskole Bjergsted. He has strong ambitions and aims to pursue a career in performance.
Arya Olesen has played the flute for eight years and is in Year 9 at the Steiner School. She is a member of Våland School Band, the Rogaland Youth Symphony Orchestra, and the cultural school’s flute ensemble. She plays flute, recorder, alto flute, bass flute and piccolo.
Alexander Johansen Blanco (13) has played the violin at Stavanger Cultural School for nearly eight years and has recently joined Young Talents Bjergsted. He also performs with Stavanger Youth Orchestra and the Rogaland Youth Symphony Orchestra. He previously played in the Stavanger Suzuki Orchestra and remains active in the Suzuki community, including performances in Italy and England, among them a joint concert at the Royal Albert Hall.
Andrea Xia Li is 13 years old and was born in Norway. She began playing the violin at Stavanger Cultural School at the age of six and is now a member of the SUS Orchestra and the Piccolino Orchestra.
Ole Xia Li is 14 years old. He has loved music since childhood and began learning the violin and piano at the age of seven. He is now a member of SUO and also participates in UtB, ROSU and the Piccolino Orchestra.
