Genuine, original country rock with drive, soul and sheer enjoyment!
Following their reunion in 2024, COLT 97 are well and truly back on stage. The band – with roots in Sandnes, Stavanger and Bryne – have spent their first year since the comeback playing a string of gigs and connecting with an ever-growing and increasingly engaged audience. Their enjoyment of playing is stronger than ever, and that energy spreads from the stage into the room.
COLT 97 perform 100% original music, with honest lyrics, strong melodies and tight musicianship at the heart of their sound. Their music moves between country rock, Americana and blues rock – with clear references to classic roots, but always with their own modern twist.
The band consists of:
Kjell Breivik – vocals/guitar
Tore Aasland – guitar
Arvid Gjerde – drums
Bjørn Hope – bass
Jon Torger H. Salte – keys
COLT 97 deliver heartfelt and energetic live performances, full of warmth, dynamics and accomplished musicianship. After a year of an increasing number of gigs and with new songs on the way, the future looks bright for a band that combines experience, passion and sheer enjoyment in every note.
