Saxophonist Øivind Stømer and pianist Magnus Fjelde take listeners deep into the vibrations of breath and the touch of fingers on the keys on their album En vinternatt (A Winter's Night). It is a bold choice to etch one's own breath into the grooves of a record, but the way Øivind Stømer does so with his saxophone reveals a deep affection for the Christmas melodies. The result is a beautiful yet melancholic soundtrack to a winter solstice meditation. This is what Vårt Land wrote about Stømer and Fjelde's Christmas album in 2012.
Audiences are invited to an intimate and relaxing Christmas concert in beautiful surroundings.
