Festkonsert med HMKG Musikktropp på Parken kulturhus

His Majesty the King’s Guard’s most prominent and well-known unit is undoubtedly the 3rd Guard Company. Today, the company appears as a dedicated parade and performance unit, consisting of the Band Troop and the Drill Troop.

For nearly fifty years, the musicians and drill soldiers have represented His Majesty the King’s Guard, the Norwegian Armed Forces, and not least Norway itself in an exceptionally positive way. With its distinctive character and the unique combination of precision drill and music, the unit has achieved considerable success both nationally and internationally.

The company currently consists of 120 conscripted soldiers, of whom 80 serve in the Band Troop.

Now they are coming to Ålesund and Parken Kulturhus as part of their Norway tour. Here, the Band Troop will perform a celebratory concert featuring a varied repertoire.
