Welcome to 'Handicraft for all', a meeting place for people who like or want to do various forms of handicraft. All ages, genders and nationalities are welcome here! We gather every other week at Elvetun, to work on everything from sewing, crocheting, embroidery, knitting, drawing, painting and more. We work together, on our own projects. Do you want to learn something new? Then you will get help from our skilled volunteers. We have sewing machines and a lot of different creative equipment and materials. If needed, we can buy more materials. Free coffee and tea will be served.
This is a new activity and we can adapt as needed. Maybe we will invite course providers over time to teach something specific? Or we will organize a repair shop? All input is welcome. Join us!

Elvetun is located directly behind the Vestkanten Storsenter. You can drive into the space in front of the youth center to get on and off, but parking is along the road, or in the parking garage at Vestkanten. There is two hours of free parking in the parking garage. There is a road up from the 2nd level of the parking garage, as well as a footbridge from the 4th level, directly to Elvetun. The parking garage has 18 disabled spaces, but please note that they are not located close to the footbridge. Many buses stop at Loddefjord terminal, a short 10-minute walk from Elvetun. Lyngfaret bus stop is the closest. Elvetun has a ramp and all premises are on the ground floor and in principle accessible by wheelchair, but please note that some of them have thresholds. The house has a disabled toilet.
