30 songs, 10 musicians, a three-hour energy bomb of a concert, and a deep dive into the career of one of the world's greatest artists and stage personalities. The band celebrates 20 years in 2026

In 2006, project manager and lead vocalist Håvard Bakke started his dream project. At the heart of it was a burning desire to perform music by his great hero Bruce Springsteen, but at the same time also convey something of what one can experience at a concert by the boss himself; namely an unbeatable, life-affirming mix of musicality, dynamics, playfulness, joy of playing and positive energy. Musicians were handpicked from the vibrant music community in Sandvika outside Oslo, and songs from a long and rich career were duly selected and put together.
19 years later, the train rolls on, and COVER ME is once again ready to hit the road with its energetic concerts.

Håvard says about COVER ME:
"We are not a cover band. We are a TRIBUTE band! We manage an idea and a catalog from an artist who is constantly raising the bar as a live artist. It is indescribable fun, but also a clear responsibility. We try to follow up by picking songs from his entire career – well-known and less well-known, and putting together new set lists for each and every concert, so that each experience is different and unique. Or as the boss himself says: “I can’t promise you life ever after – but I can promise you life right now!” Hope to see you out there.”
