Participants will go out in a boat to pull up the pots, prepare the catch afterwards and enjoy it in a maritime setting.
Programme, Saturday 28 February
- 09:45: Meet at Tranhuset on Røvær for registration
- 09:45: Introduction to crab fishing, regulations and biology
- 10:00: Put on equipment (boiler suit, life jacket and boots)
- 10:15: Go out in a boat to pull up the pots.
- 11:30: Return to Tranhuset and prepare the catch
- 12:00: Crab is served in the traditional way
The course is completely free, but places are very limited – sign up as soon as possible!
