Randi Tytingvåg Trio – a unique, intimate chamber ensemble!
Randi Tytingvåg Trio has a long career with frequent tours in Norway and Germany. They are now presenting their new album, LENGT.
With strong, life-affirming lyrics and a distinctive sound blending elements of folk songs, jazz, and traditional music, the trio always delivers quality. Randi has composed the music, and the lyrics were written in close collaboration with the poet and author Helge Torvund.
In October 2025, the trio took up residence at the tourist association’s premises at Gramstadtunet in Sandnes. In these peaceful, scenic surroundings, they could work undisturbed and intensively on the new album. With vocal harmonies, guitars, banjo, mandola, and other string instruments, they created a fully realised acoustic sound.
They are now excited to perform live! The trio performs the “old-fashioned” way; all three gathered around a single microphone. This brings the audience close to the music and the storytelling.
