Over the years, Rein Alexander has created this concert as an up-close and personal experience, where the great Christmas classics meet the more thoughtful and heartfelt. With him in the anniversary year is Elisabeth Andreassen, one of Norway's most beloved artists.

She has been a central voice in Norwegian music life for several decades. Her presence and musicality give the concert an extra warmth and closeness, and she has a very special grasp of Christmas music that touches audiences across generations. They also have Kim Rysstad with them, who adds a beautiful anchoring to the concert in Norwegian tradition and folk tunes.

With them on stage, the artists have a well-coordinated and experienced musical team, led by conductor and keyboardist Petter Anthon Næss. Through many years of Christmas concerts, the musicians have developed their own distinctive style in their interaction, where experience, musicality and understanding of the format allow for both the simple and the magnificent. Petter Anthon himself has been a central part of Christmas tours since the beginning of the 90s, and together with Torbjørn Økland and Michael Caplin, a lively and nuanced sound image is created that lifts the whole and gives the concert its own warmth and identity.

Together, they create an expression that is both intimate and magnificent – ​​with room for both goosebumps, reflection and the good, recognizable Christmas feeling.

For many, Deilig er jorden has become a permanent part of the pre-Christmas season – a tradition to return to, year after year.
