A Christmas Concert with Vidar and Tobias Furholt
Father and son Vidar and Tobias Furholt invite to an atmospheric Christmas concert in the church, featuring acoustic guitar, vocals, storytelling and melodic percussion. They weave together classical gems, original compositions and much-loved Christmas songs to create a peaceful, down-to-earth concert in the beautiful light of December.
Following last year's sold-out concert, they are presenting two performances at Sola Ruinkyrkje on Thursday 17 December, one at 6 pm and the other at 8 pm.
Tobias Furholt has recently completed a Master's degree in performance as a percussionist at HMDK in Stuttgart. He currently works as a freelance musician while studying orchestral conducting at the Royal Danish Academy of Music in Copenhagen. He has also held a one-year academy position with the Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra.
Vidar Furholt is a critically acclaimed songwriter and artist with four albums to his name and a new album in the works. Several of his songs are regularly played on NRK P1. For many years, he has performed at major and smaller venues and festivals in Norway and abroad.
Duration: 1 hour and 15 minutes
Organiser: Vidar Furholt
