KONTRABASS OG HEIMELAGA LYRIKK med Arne Hjeltnes og Roger Allan Ivin // Onsdag 25. november

On November 25th, Arne Hjeltnes returns to Fabrikken with his wry observations, stories, and homemade poetry. He is joined by a highly musical double-bass player from Sogn, Roger Allan Ivin.

Expect an evening that is amusing, heartwarming, and—almost certainly—a bit unpredictable.

Arne Hjeltnes needs little introduction. Over the years, he has been a TV host, author, business figure, and communicator—always displaying a gentle humor and a keen eye for people, everyday life, and the little absurdities around us.

Roger Allan Ivin is a highly experienced musician with an impressive track record. He is a regular musician with Heine Totland and a former bassist for the band Trang Fødsel. Tonight, he brings along his acoustic double bass, "Charlene Chadwick."

It has been said that Roger is a cross between Heine Totland and Arne Hjeltnes—which, all things considered, is a very promising combination.

Arne and Roger have shared many fun moments, and the blend of double bass, poetry, stories, and warm humor works surprisingly well. Both are capable of captivating an audience on their own; tonight, you get to experience them both up close at Bar Bakke.
