Elin Furubotn, is out with her tenth album DET NÆRE a musical portrait of life as it can be felt: close, imperfect, humorous and real.

Elin Furubotn writes her own songs, and is one of the country's most respected folk singers. Norwegians have heard countless of Elin's songs through NRK's ​​radio channels, including "Så lett det kan ver", together with Morten Abel and the Stavanger Symphony Orchestra. One of her new songs "Meg og Mari-Ann" is a frequently played song on Radio102. and the lyrics are most often about recognizable everyday life, with a good dose of humor and wonder. Elin sings, plays guitar and has a small portable tree organ. She has released albums nationally and in Germany and won international awards for best album in 2012 and 2022.

On stage she has with her the best Nils Økland, who is one of our most recognized and sought-after fiddle players, living in Haugesund. He is internationally known for his innovative playing style at the intersection of folk music and improvisation.
