The story of Esau and Jacob, Abraham’s grandsons, is one of the Bible’s many accounts of war between brothers – and of the long road towards forgiveness. The conflict in the Middle East is not a religious conflict. Nevertheless, both sides use religious arguments.
Svein Tindberg and Kjetil Bang-Hansen return with an entirely new theatre production. Where Abraham’s Children ended, the story of Abraham’s grandsons naturally begins: Esau and Jacob. Their previous productions include The Gospel According to Mark, Acts of the Apostles and Abraham’s Children. Over the years, these performances have been seen by hundreds of thousands of enthusiastic audience members across the country.
Director: Kjetil Bang-Hansen
The production premiered in April 2024, with many additional performances and a subsequent tour that is now being extended.
