With a career that also includes songwriting for stars such as Beyoncé, Taylor Swift and Train, Espen Lind has firmly established himself as one of the most accomplished musicians of his generation.
Biography
Espen Lind broke through in the late 1990s with When Susannah Cries and has since established himself as one of Norway’s most beloved and versatile artists. He has written international hits for artists including Beyoncé and Train, and has been behind several of Norway’s most successful releases as a songwriter and producer.
In addition to his solo career, he was part of the hugely successful group Lind, Nilsen, Fuentes, Holm, and has been a mentor on The Voice for many years. In 2025, he composed the original music for NRK’s Rekviem for Selina, and in 2024 he played Pontius Pilate in Jesus Christ Superstar at Folketeateret.
Espen Lind is an artist who continues to evolve, with a career that spans both the intimate and the international.
