It is with great pleasure and anticipation that we welcome Fadnes (Jim Stärk) to Kulturboden in November.
Einar Fadnes made his solo debut in 2020 with the self-titled record Fadnes, after two decades as frontman, guitarist, pianist and songwriter in Jim Stärk. The first single from the solo project, Shallow Waters, became a long-lasting radio favourite and stayed on the charts for half a year. In 2023 he followed up with The Waiting Game and yet another radio hit, The Wind In The Trees.
In autumn 2025 his latest record arrived, Hello Daylight – a release that shows a brighter and more forward-leaning Fadnes. The music is still melancholic and intimate, but Fadnes' wry take on both small and big questions gives his concerts a warmth of their own, where laughter comes easily and the audience is drawn into the stories behind the songs.
Three decades as a musician – with everything life has offered in the way of highs and uphill struggles – is elegantly woven together with pop gems of the highest order. Whether he stands alone on stage, plays in a trio or performs with a sextet, Fadnes captivates audiences with one of the country's most distinctive voices and a songwriting craft of absolute top quality.
Please welcome Einar Fadnes on vocals, piano and guitar with Ronny Yttrehus on electric guitar and Olav Senstad on bass.
We look forward to a truly SPECIAL evening at Kulturboden on Flatøy. The bar is open all evening. A warm welcome to all.
