This talk takes the audience into the world of the garden – from what sprouts and grows, to everything that crawls, creeps and challenges. It is about what is put into the soil and what comes up again, both literally and figuratively.
The lecture offers personal reflections on plants, soil and gardening, and what it does to us to slow down, kneel down with a trowel and forget about time. There is room here for slugs, ground elder and stinkhorn mushrooms – as well as birds, animals and unexpected encounters in the garden.
This is suitable for anyone who is curious about gardens, nature and the quiet interaction between humans and their surroundings. No prior knowledge is required – just an interest in green spaces and good stories.
Duration: approx. 1 hour
