After three consecutive years of sold-out Christmas concerts at St. Petri Church, Gilberdal is moving to Ålgård Church in 2026. The group will bring the best of previous years’ performances, while strengthening the line-up with local Ålgård artist Ingvild Fjeldheim Abrahamsen as a special guest.
Together, the performers will create a warm and beautiful Christmas concert at Ålgård Church. The audience can look forward to a varied programme, where familiar and much-loved Christmas songs are woven together with new material and presented in the group’s own distinctive and tasteful arrangements.
Both together and individually, the artists and musicians on stage aim to help the audience experience a little Christmas peace amid the busy run-up to Christmas.
Gilberdal consists of Øystein Gilje, Kjell Emil Berge and Tor Kjetil Espedal. They are joined by Bjarte Mo (violin), Kjell Rune Fjellheim (guitars) and Magnus Rød Haugland (double bass).
