Hanne Sørvaag’s julekonsert «Christmas Lights»

The songs on the Christmas album were co-written with accomplished songwriters from Nashville; while they are original compositions, in the decade-plus since the album’s release, they have found their way onto countless playlists. One of the tracks even features in the popular Netflix series *Home for Christmas*, thereby becoming part of many people's holiday traditions.

The concert also includes some personal favorites among classic Christmas songs—such as "Little Drummer Boy" and Joni Mitchell’s "River" (performed with new Norwegian lyrics)—weaving together themes of childhood Christmas memories, joy, anticipation, longing, and melancholy.

Storytelling is always central to Sørvaag’s concerts, featuring insightful, personal, and often humorous tales drawn from her own life.
