Gåte are ready to take to the stage with their distinctive blend of traditional melodies and modern rock. The band has established itself as a prominent force in Norwegian music and draws audiences from all over the country.

From breakthrough to established status

The band made its breakthrough in the early 2000s and has since delivered a string of concerts and albums. Their debut album Jygri won a Spellemann Award and helped propel the band to prominence in the Norwegian music scene.

A new lease of life and strong releases

After a hiatus, Gåte returned in 2017, and the album Svevn was well received. The band has since toured to sold-out venues and cemented its position within folk rock.

International attention

In 2024, Gåte won the Melodi Grand Prix with the song ‘Ulveham’, reaching a wide audience through Eurovision. This has contributed to increased interest and touring activity in Europe.

A band with a distinct sound

With Gunnhild Sundli at the helm and a tight-knit band, Gåte delivers concerts with power, musicality and a distinct identity. Audiences can expect a concert that combines both intensity and intimacy.
