Reidar Larsen – a leading blues artist
Reidar Larsen (b. 1955) is regarded as a prominent figure in Norwegian blues, both nationally and internationally. He has been active for over 50 years and has made a clear mark through his own projects, record releases and collaborations with a host of artists. He is also known as an original member of the Stavanger Ensemble and Smalhans.
Jolly Jumper with international experience
Kjell Inge Fisher Brovoll (b. 1965), known as Jolly Jumper, is a harmonica player and vocalist. He has been the frontman of ‘Jolly Jumper & Big Moe & Jimbo Jambo Band’ and has released several albums featuring his own songs. He has also played a central role in the international blues scene, notably through his work with the ‘Blues in Hell’ festival.
A well-established partnership
Reidar Larsen and Kjell Inge Brovoll have collaborated in various contexts over many years. As a duo, they build on this partnership, something the audience experienced at the Polish Boogie Festival, amongst other occasions.
