With pop music in the distinctive Jæren dialect, Hilde Selvikvåg has quickly established herself as a much-loved artist. After her Spellemann-nominated debut album, she has had many songs in heavy rotation on NRK radio channels.
With catchy songs such as “Karusell”, “Indie”, “Anemone” and “Fryd”, she has sung her way into many hearts and shown that she is a unique artist who dares to follow her own path.
This concert is part of her distinctive and personal garden tour – a touring concept she has built up together with her followers on social media. On the garden tour, she performs in people’s gardens, visiting everything from small terraced houses in cities to large farms in the countryside.
Since summer 2021, she has visited over 200 gardens across the country. Night after night, year after year, audiences have cheered in sun and rain and created magical moments together with Hilde. Meeting people in this way is what she loves most.
The concert is a journey through childhood memories, life experiences and thoughts about the future, filled with intimate and personal lyrics about life itself. With heartfelt expression, she delivers her songs in a uniquely warm and present way, evoking both laughter and tears.
