Janove invites the audience into a personal story about following dreams, letting go of perfectionism and daring to set big goals. He shares experiences that show that the journey towards the goal is often more important than the moment when it is achieved.
25 years of artistic contrasts
Throughout his career, he has moved from Kaizers Orchestra and its strong connection with the audience, via the theatre and film project ‘The Mute’, to life as a solo artist with greater responsibility and vulnerability. Nothing has come easily, and everything has been done in close collaboration with others.
The stories behind the work
Janove talks about an artistic life where 90 per cent is about preparation, planning and dedication. The concert and the album are short-lived, but it is on the way there that the stories are created and the development takes place.
Reflections on life's journey
The lecture deals with the contrasts that all people experience: being brave, but dependent on others. Facing challenges, accepting change and still moving forward.
A new format – with a hint of music
This evening, the audience will meet Janove first and foremost as a storyteller, where experiences take centre stage. There are also rumours of a few musical moments between the stories.
