VIDAR JOHNSEN
An exceptional and fascinating musical journey, from success as the frontman of VAMP (1999–2007) and as one half of the successful duo Vidar Johnsen & Peter Nordberg (2007–2010), to a solo career that really took off with the single “Inn i mitt liv” from the critically acclaimed album Galskapens Land in 2012.
Having recently turned 50, Vidar Johnsen offers a cheerful, suitably informal and self-deprecating look back, filled with humour and memorable musical moments.
The concert features hit after hit, including classics such as “Månemannen”, “Fuglane vett”, “Den morgenen”, “Tir N'a Noir”, “Duetten”, “Inn i mitt liv”, “Skjebnens ironi”, “På vift” and “Evelina”.
With more than 15 million streams on Spotify alone, over 600,000 physically sold albums, Artist of the Year and a Spellemann Award with VAMP, as well as a Spellemann nomination with Johnsen & Nordberg, Vidar Johnsen is firmly established as one of Norway’s leading Norwegian-language artists.
