Janove Ottesen will be performing at Festiviteten on Saturday 12 December at 7.00 pm. The concert marks a return to a venue he himself describes as a favourite.
Musical expression with a string quartet
The concert will feature a string quartet, lending the songs a more symphonic and cinematic feel. The ensemble playing brings out new nuances in the material.
A tailored repertoire
The programme has been put together with a focus on songs that are well-suited to this format. The arrangements have been developed by Erlend Skomsvoll, Gisle Kverndokk, Erik Waldejer and Heine Røise.
New music and guest artist
Ahead of the concert, Janove is releasing new music, including the single ‘Min Melodi Blå’ and the album ‘The Collection’. OLIVER will open the concert with piano-based music.
